VALLE NEVADO
Located at 46 kilometers west from Santiago, it is one of the newest ski resorts in Chile. Inaugurated in 1988 by French entrepreneurs at the foot of El Plomo Hill, it follows the design of French ski resorts in the Alps.
FARELLONES
It is a small mountain town that becomes a ski resort in winter time. It is located at 36 kilometers from Santiago in a mountain plain at 2.340 meters above sea level. It is characterized for being a town with houses made out of wood which gives it a particular attractive feature. Farellones has its own medical center and school so its people can live there without problems throughout the year.
El COLORADO
It is a mountain town that holds a ski resort 39 kilometers away from downtown Santiago, with 22 tracks and 18 cable cars available so you can enjoy the mountains in different ways; you can ski or snowboard and also practice some off road tracks for beginners and experts.
LA PARVA
Ski resort and mountain town located at 50 kilometers away from Santiago. It has all the services you might need: hotels, great ski fields, and tracks. It is considered by world recognized skiers as a great spot for practicing the sport.
PORTILLO
It is the oldest ski resort of South America and hosted the World Ski Championship in 1966. Located in the Andes Mountains at 2.860 meters of altitude and 164 kilometers north from Santiago, it is famous for its tracks, great hotel, and the Inca Lake.
