CITY TOUR SANTIAGO & CHILEAN GASTRONOMY

We invite you to enjoy the “Typical Chilean Gastronomy” that has born from the perfect mix of our native culinary style and the influence from the different colonies that have settled in Chile and that come from places such as Spain, Italy, Germany, and France.

We will start our tour in the civic center of our city and walking through its streets we will arrive at the Central Market which was declared as National Historical Site in 1984. Today it receives hundreds of tourists who come mainly looking for typical seafood dishes such as Mariscal, Paila Marina, and fried local fish. Nowadays, the Central Market’s building has two floors and 241 different stores with wine shops, butcheries, bakeries, groceries, seafood stores, souvenirs, and restaurants.

Here you could taste exquisite flavors that are typical of Chilean gastronomy with the guidance of a local chef that will make you experience in first person the recipes that delight Chilean people every day. Diverse products coming directly from the Chilean coasts and ingredients with intense aromas will be at your disposal to taste and pairing with the best wines coming from all of our valleys.
